"All classes are to be canceled on Friday, September thirteenth. The classes will resume on Monday, September sixteenth. It is for the childrens' own safety that this cancellation is in place. Have a safe weekend,
Schoolmaster I. Crane"
He is a very odd man, that Mr. Crane! you think to yourself. He is extremely superstitious! ...I wonder how he spent his Friday!
As soon as you think this, you see a movement by the schoolhouse. A man emerges, blinking in the sunlight.

*the next morning after the frolic, you had heard that the schoolmaster disappeared...How very odd.....Then you remember about the Headless Horseman story Brom Bones told the night Ichabod dissappeared. Could it be.... You instantly rush down to the bridge and see something shocking. Ichabod Crane's three corner hat lying upside down on the dirt road and close beside it......a shattered pumpkin.....What do you do?*
Halloween Frolic
Ichabod is riding Gunpowder (a horse he borrowed for the occasion) on his way to the Halloween Frolic (five minutes early) at Katrina's abode. He appears to be very excited and has a very eager look on his face.
